The Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory (MBG Lab) has been accredited by Dubai Accreditation Centre (DAC) under the recognition of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to international standards; ISO15189:2012 and ISO17025:2005. This demonstrates our continuing commitment to achieve the highest quality service for our customers.

The MBG laboratory remains one of the most advanced genomic centres in the Middle East. With this accreditation achievement MBG is the only Laboratory in the region able to cater to the needs of both Medical Healthcare providers and Veterinary Clinics.

Quality Management

The Quality Management System (QMS) at MBG Laboratory is designed to provide quality guidelines and laboratory workflows which support the generation of efficient, high quality appropriate laboratory services. MBG Lab’s Quality Assurance Team oversees regulatory guidance, staff professional development (CPD), QMS compliance and evaluation of quality assurance development. MBG Lab has established best practice procedures, quality indicators and measures in every phase of the workflow; pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical. In addition to that, MBG Lab performs various Internal Quality Assurance measures and participates in various EQA programs both locally and internationally.
